Hazel Z. Lindee is the first book I have illustrated and written. It is story of a dog whose mind may or may not always settle.  In my early 20’s I worked with Barbara Steinau at Gessel Institute in New Haven as a teacher learning to hold and read books for young ones. I can now see that the time there deeply began my love of children, and inspired my career as a child and family therapist.  I have always found great peace in the play of words and art.
